1. College Overview
Shandong Vocational College of Media is a full-time general college approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. Affiliated to the Shandong Provincial Radio and Television Bureau and co-managed with the Provincial Department of Education, it is the only state-owned public college in the province of radio, film, television and mass media.
The predecessor of the college was Shandong Broadcasting School, founded in 1960, and was renamed Shandong Broadcasting and Television School in 1982. In 2008, with the approval of the People's Government of Shandong Province and the Ministry of Education for the record, the Shandong Media Vocational College was established. In 2014, Shandong Publishing Technical School was merged into Shandong Vocational College of Media.
The school adopts "relying on the media, serving the media" as its school-running philosophy, "school-media integration" as its school-running feature, and "only true and capable" as its school motto. The goal is to build a cultural and media higher vocational college that is "nationally well-known and first-class in the province" with a refined teaching style and a learning style of "learning and thinking".
2. School scale
The college has Zhangqiu campus and Wendong campus. Zhangqiu campus is the main campus, covering an area of nearly 1,000 acres, with a building area of 136,000 square meters; Wendong campus covers an area of more than 30 acres with a building area of 24,000 square meters.
