Founded in 1958, Shandong University of the Arts is located in Jinan, a famous historical and cultural city surrounded by famous springs. It is a university jointly established by the People’s Government of Shandong Province and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It has the right to grant master's degrees in 5 first-level disciplines under the category of arts. The project was awarded to the construction unit of Shandong Province for the doctoral degree in 2017-2023. From the beginning of the school, a large number of well-known domestic artists and art educators have worked and lived here.
