Shandong Vocational College of Technology was founded in 1950 and is an ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province. The college covers an area of 1022 acres, with a building area of 320,000 square meters, a total fixed assets value of 837.6 million yuan, a total value of teaching equipment of 140 million yuan, 205 on-campus experiment and training rooms, 333 off-campus training bases, and a library collection of 149 Million copies. The college currently has 820 faculty members, 623 full-time teachers, 227 associate senior and above, 10 doctors and 404 masters. In the past five years, the one-time filing rate has been around 99%, and the registration rate has reached more than 90%. The enrollment scale has been expanding year after year, and the quality of the source of students has been continuously improved. The overall employment rate has reached 98%, and the key professional counterpart employment rate has reached 92.7%. In the past five years, our teachers have won more than 200 awards in skill competitions at or above the provincial level, informatization teaching competitions, and teaching competitions for young teachers in colleges and universities, and one national vocational education teacher teaching innovation team. Our students have won more than 90 awards in the national or Shandong Vocational College Skills Competition. In the past three years, the college has cultivated more than 500 student innovation and entrepreneurship teams, cultivated 5650 innovative and entrepreneurial activists, successfully incubated 129 college student entrepreneurship projects, 71 incubation entrepreneurship projects, and more than 100 creative projects. Our students participated in the national and provincial innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and submitted more than 1,000 works and won 301 awards.
