Shandong Institute of Management was founded in 1938 in Yishui County, an old revolutionary base. It was formerly the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions Cadre School established in 1950. It was rebuilt as the Shandong Provincial Trade Union Management Cadre College in 1987. It was rebuilt in 2013 with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People’s Government. Ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities were renamed Shandong Institute of Management. The school is located in Jinan, the spring city. There are two campuses, Changqing and Licheng, with a total area of 735,700 square meters and a building area of 302,800 square meters.
