The Shengli College of China University of Petroleum is a standardized and independent college organized by China University of Petroleum (East China) and Shengli Petroleum Administration, a university directly under the Ministry of Education. The school was established in March 2003 as the Shengli College of the University of Petroleum at the time. In March 2005, it was renamed the Shengli College of the China University of Petroleum.
