Jining College is a provincial full-time general undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2007. It dates back to 1951 and was formerly known as Jining Teachers College. In November 2008, Qufu Normal School, a century-old school founded in 1905, was merged into the restructuring system.
