Zaozhuang College is located in Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. It is a full-time comprehensive general undergraduate college in Shandong Province. Its predecessor was the Zaozhuang Teachers Training School established in 1971. In 1984, it was approved by the Shandong Provincial People's Government to establish Zaozhuang Teachers College. In May 2004, it was rebuilt into a full-time general undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of Education and renamed Zaozhuang University.
