Shanxi Management Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as the "College") was formerly the Shanxi Provincial Administrative Management School established in 1986. It was reorganized into Shanxi Management Vocational College under the approval of the Shanxi Provincial People’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education in November 2003 and managed by the Provincial Department of Education. .

The college is located in the hometown of Yao and Shun, which enjoys the reputation of "the first capital of China". It is located in the north section of Binhe West Road, Yaodu District, Linfen City. Modern teaching facilities such as training building, library, academic lecture hall, 400-meter standard track and field field. It has a computer room that can accommodate more than 800 people, a book reading room that can accommodate more than 300 people, and an electronic reading room with more than 100 seats. The library has more than 210,000 books. There are five departments in the teaching: Public Management Department, Business Department, Information Management Department, Finance and Accounting Department, and Art Department.
