Zhongshan College of Dalian Medical University

The Zhongshan College of Dalian Medical University was founded in July 1999. In March 2004, it was confirmed as an independent college by the Ministry of Education. In January 2007, it was jointly organized by Dalian Medical University and Dalian Jinzhenyuan Group.


The college is located at No. 28, Aixian Street, High-tech Zone, Dalian. It covers an area of 712.38 acres and has a building area of 167,000 square meters. It has complete teaching places, advanced supporting facilities and complete information construction. There are 129 laboratories, 520,000 books, and 33,200 square meters of sports fields. The total value of fixed assets is 720 million yuan.


The college is open to Liaoning, Beijing, Tianjin, Guizhou, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jilin, Henan, Hebei, Fujian, Anhui, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Xinjiang, etc. 24 Enrollment in all provinces (cities, districts).


The college currently has 20 undergraduate majors, covering 5 disciplines of engineering, management, medicine, pedagogy, and art. Among them, the major of nursing has been rated as a special undergraduate specialty of Liaoning Province, a comprehensive reform pilot major and a transformation development pilot major, and public utilities The management major was appraised as a pilot major for transformation and development in Liaoning Province.


Relying on the strong faculty and abundant educational resources of Dalian Medical University, the college has adopted a new mechanism to form a high-quality full-time and part-time faculty. There are 354 full-time teachers, including 86 professors and 112 associate professors. The college currently has 9 provincial-level teaching teachers.


Aiming at the professional training goals, the college has established a comprehensive, design-based practice, and experimental teaching system, and systematically built a comprehensive experimental teaching center and teaching base for clinical skills, basic medicine, stomatology, and computers. The college currently has 2 provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration centers, 1 virtual simulation experimental teaching center; 2 provincial-level excellent resource sharing courses; 6 provincial-level college students' off-campus practical education bases. Approved as the Liaoning Province University Student Mental Health Education Demonstration School and the Liaoning Province University Student Entrepreneurship Incubation Demonstration Base. The college has a mental health education center for college students, a quality development center, a gymnasium, and a standard stadium. The college pays attention to the cultivation of students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and incorporates innovation and entrepreneurship education into the whole process of talent training.


In recent years, the college has obtained a total of 473 national and provincial quality improvement projects, and has received a total of 2,114,800 construction funds.
