Shenyang Institute of Technology is an ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, founded in 1999. The school is located in Shenyang and Fushun New District, which borders the two cities of Shenyang and Fushun. The campus is adjacent to the Hun River in the north, with convenient transportation, elegant environment and pleasant scenery. The school has always adhered to social needs as the orientation, and actively adapted to the new needs of Liaoning’s economic and social development and industrial transformation and upgrading for talents. It has constructed 56 application-oriented disciplines covering 6 disciplines including engineering, economics, management, art, culture, and agriculture. The undergraduate professional system has formed an undergraduate professional structure dominated by engineering majors; 11 higher vocational college majors have also been set up.    The school continues to increase investment in education and actively improves the conditions for running schools. Facing our province's superior industry-intelligent equipment manufacturing, the school has built an i5 digital factory that meets the "Industry 4.0" standards. Based on this digital factory, it was successfully approved as a key laboratory of Liaoning Province—a laboratory for cyber-physical integration and intelligent manufacturing of high-end CNC machine tools. In 2017, the school built a first-class automobile training center, and built the “horticultural science and technology museum” on-campus practice base for agronomy.
