Anshan Normal University is a full-time general undergraduate normal university. It is located in an excellent tourist city and a national sanitary city with the world’s number one jade Buddha, a famous hot spring in Asia, a national scenic spot of Qianshan, the capital of precious jade in China, and the steel capital of the motherland. The school was founded in 1958. Anshan Teachers College was restored in 1978. Anshan Teachers College was restored as an undergraduate in 1993. In 2004, it passed the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education. In 2011, it was approved as a postgraduate training unit for the master of education. In 2013, it was approved by the Chinese Government Scholarship to host colleges for international students in China.
