Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The predecessor of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine Training School (1955) and Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (1956). In 1958, the Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. In the same year, the school enrolled the first batch of TCM students. In 2006, approved by the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed from "Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine" to "Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine". Approved by Liaoning Province in 2013, the school added the name "Liaoning Academy of Chinese Medicine".


  


   Over the past 60 years since the establishment of the school, Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine has established a development pattern of "one school and three districts". The main campus is located in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province, and the two branch campuses are located in Bincheng Dalian and the medical capital Benxi.
