Shenyang University was founded in 1980. After the merger of many schools, it has now developed into a comprehensive university with undergraduate education as the main body, and doctoral and master graduate education, continuing education and international student education. The school history can be traced back to Fengtian Industrial School founded in 1905 and Xinmin Public School founded in 1906.
In recent years, in accordance with the guiding opinions of the state and Liaoning Province to guide the transformation and development of local colleges and universities, the school adheres to the concept of serving regional economic and social development and serving regional industrial revitalization, and has promoted the transformation and development of the school and achieved good results.
