Shenyang Aerospace University is a multidisciplinary institution of higher learning featuring aerospace and aviation, focusing on engineering, and coordinated development of engineering, science, liberal arts, economics, management, and art. Founded in 1952, the school was one of the six undergraduate aviation colleges under the former Ministry of Aviation Industry. In March 2010, it was officially renamed "Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics".
