Liaoning Pharmaceutical Vocational College is a demonstration school for the reform and development of vocational education in Liaoning Province. In 2000, it was merged into the original Liaoning College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) and separated from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010. Liaoning Health Vocational and Technical College was renamed Liaoning Medical Vocational College in 2014.
The main campus of the college is located in the Sujiatun District of Shenyang City, adjacent to the Shenyang International Exhibition Center, and the Benxi campus is located in Shenben New Town.
