Jilin Electronic Information Vocational and Technical College is a higher vocational college filed by the Ministry of Education and directly under the Jilin Provincial Department of Education. The college was founded in 1964 and was called "Jilin Nonferrous Metals Industrial School", then "China Gold Mining Corporation Jilin Secondary Technical School" (abbreviated as "Golden School"). In 1970, it was renamed "Jilin Metallurgical Industry School", 2002 Independently upgraded to a higher vocational and technical college.
