The School of Humanities of Northeast Normal University was founded in 1988, and its predecessor was the Foreign Language and Culture Exchange Center of Jilin Province. In February 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the School of Humanities of Northeast Normal University was formally established as an undergraduate private college. Professor Mu Shuyuan, a national outstanding educator, is the chairman of the college, and Professor Lv Yinghua, a doctoral supervisor, is the dean.
College is located in Changchun Jingyue National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The campus covers an area of more than 600 acres, with two campuses in the east and west, with a construction area of more than 260,000 square meters.
