Jiangxi Vocational College of Agricultural Engineering is a full-time public general higher vocational college integrating agriculture, forestry, biology, engineering, information, finance and management. It is subordinate to the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and is under the guidance of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education. The college was founded in 1940 and its predecessor was Jiangxi Zhangshu Agricultural School. In 1980, it was identified as a key secondary school in Jiangxi Province. In 2000, it was identified as the first batch of national key secondary schools. In 2004, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college. The college is located in Zhangshu City, the capital of Chinese medicine, with convenient transportation, elegant environment and complete facilities.
