Jiangxi Manufacturing Vocational and Technical College is a full-time comprehensive public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a university directly under the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education. The predecessor of the college was Jiangxi Mechanical Workers University founded in 1978. In June 2004, the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government approved the establishment of higher vocational colleges on this basis and was renamed Jiangxi Manufacturing Vocational and Technical College. In November of the same year, Jiangxi Provincial Institute of Mechanical Science was incorporated into the college.
The college has three campuses, Aixi Lake, Shanghai Road, and Ding Road, covering an area of more than 400 acres and a building area of nearly 200,000 square meters. The new campus is located in the picturesque Aixi Lake-Nanchang (Changdong) College Park. The college has built 2 national-level vocational education training bases for CNC technology and automobile maintenance, and 3 provincial-level professional skills training centers, including electronic information technology, mold manufacturing technology, and cross-professional liberal arts comprehensive training centers, as well as various professional experiments on campus. , There are 75 training rooms, teaching and research equipment valued at 47.5552 million yuan, and a collection of nearly 500,000 books.
