Jiangxi Aviation Vocational and Technical College was established in 1956. The school is the Chinese People’s Liberation Army’s directional training noncommissioned officer college, the national high-skilled personnel training base, the Ministry of Education "national applied talent training base", the aviation industry professional and technical personnel training base, and the world skills competition National training base for aircraft maintenance projects.
The school is located in Nanchang City, a heroic city with the reputation of "Treasures of Nature and Wonders of Nature". There are two campuses in Hongdu (East and West) and Changnan. The school currently has more than 7,000 full-time vocational students. There are more than 400 full-time and part-time teachers. Among the teachers, those with senior professional titles or senior technician qualifications account for 56% of the total number of teachers. The school’s teaching facilities are complete. The school has 32 experimental training rooms and an aircraft manufacturing comprehensive training center.
