Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Jiangxi Provincial Government. The school was established in 1953 and is an established vocational college in Jiangxi Province. In 2019, it became one of the first batch of 197 "double high schools" in the country. After 68 years of school-running accumulation, the school is now a high-level professional group construction unit with Chinese characteristics (a national double-high school), a national high-quality vocational college, and its comprehensive school-running strength has ranked among the top 100 vocational colleges in the country.


The school is located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The city has a beautiful environment, convenient transportation, and is suitable for living and studying. There are more than 16,000 full-time students.



1. Beautiful environment



The school covers an area of 813 acres and is a national AAA-level scenic campus. As a "model school for ecological civilization construction", the school strives to create a forest campus of "people in the forest, forest in the school, and school in the painting" style, with a green coverage rate of 70%. The school has also built a series of campus landscapes such as ecological lake, ecological garden, ecological corridor, Lixue Lake, Lixue Pavilion, Knowledge Square, Luban Square, Celebrity Square, and the largest ecological science and education center among colleges and universities in the province, which is convenient for students to imperceptibly. 2. Superior conditions



(1) Complete professional settings. According to the needs of the industry and the needs of regional economic and social development, the school makes overall plans for the establishment of disciplines. There are now 9 secondary colleges, including the College of Forestry, the College of Ecological Construction and Environmental Protection, the College of Landscape Architecture and Architecture, the College of Industry and Design, the College of Business, the College of Communication and Information, the College of Tourism and Foreign Languages, the College of Automotive Mechatronics, and the College of Furniture. 2 applied technology-based undergraduate majors, 8 joint training majors for undergraduate education, 59 higher vocational majors, including 1 national high-level professional group and 5 high-level majors.


(2) Strong teachers. The school currently has 592 full-time teachers and 113 part-time teachers outside the school, including 166 teachers with senior professional titles, 312 teachers with doctoral and master's degrees, and 371 teachers with "dual-teacher" qualities. There are 3 provincial-level teaching teams, 5 provincial-level and above teaching teachers, 16 provincial-level backbone teachers, 13 domestic and foreign visiting scholars, and 15 people who hold positions above committee members in various academic organizations at the provincial level and above.



(3) Strong teaching ability. There are 1 national teaching resource database, 5 provincial teaching resource databases, 1 national quality online course, 31 provincial quality online open courses, and 54 provincial education reform projects. There are 33 pilot zones with provincial and above characteristic majors, demonstration construction majors, and talent training innovation. The school was rated as the third batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units by the Ministry of Education.



(4) The training facilities are complete. There are various teaching and management venues such as teaching buildings, laboratory buildings, office buildings, libraries, and maker spaces. There are 127 professional experiment and training rooms on campus, and 242 training bases have been built off campus, with an investment of more than 80 million. The training building of Yuan Jianshe has been put into use. The existing campus has a construction area of 364,000 square meters, fixed assets of 459.4 million yuan, and a total value of 65.520 million yuan of experimental training equipment.



(5) Complete living facilities. The school has two large A-level student canteens. The dishes are delicious and affordable to meet the needs of students. Three, gratifying results



(1) The students have achieved remarkable results in the competition. In the 2020 national college discipline competition rankings (higher vocational, TOP100), it ranks second in the country and first in Jiangxi. In the 2016-2020 National College Discipline Competition Ranking (Higher Vocational, TOP300), it ranks eighth in the country and first in Jiangxi. Our school player Zeng Lufeng represented the country in the 45th World Skills Competition held in Kazan, Russia in August 2019. He won the gold medal in the water treatment technology project and achieved a zero breakthrough in the world championship for Jiangxi Province.



(2) The undergraduate education has achieved remarkable results. Starting from 2015, the application technology-based undergraduate class will be opened. From 2021, it will carry out joint training with five prestigious undergraduate schools in the province, including Nanchang Hangkong University. According to statistics, the school has 77 joint undergraduate graduates in 2020, 58 applied for postgraduates, 45 are admitted to well-known domestic universities, and the number of admissions accounts for 77.59% of the applicants. The online rate of “college-upgrading” for the 2020 college graduates hit a record high, and the number of admissions accounted for 90% of the applicants. The school adheres to open education and cooperates with well-known universities in South Korea, Thailand, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany and other countries. Several groups of students have gone to study abroad and successfully obtained undergraduate and master diplomas from foreign universities.
