Jiangxi Youth Vocational College

Jiangxi Youth Vocational College is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and filed by the Ministry of Education, affiliated to the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Youth League.


The school is located in the University Park of Changbei Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanchang City, adjacent to Jiangxi Agricultural University. The campus has a beautiful environment and profound historical heritage. The predecessor of the school was the Jiangxi Provincial League School established in 1952. In May 2004, with the approval of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, the Jiangxi Youth Vocational College was established on the basis of the Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School. The school is the only higher vocational college engaged in the training of young cadres and theoretical research on youth work in our province. It is a training base for youth technical and technical talents in the province, a training base for Communist Youth League cadres, a theoretical research base for the Communist Youth League and adolescents, and a youth entrepreneurship training base in the province. The school was approved as a key research base for humanities and social sciences in universities in Jiangxi Province in 2015. In 2019, it was approved as the Jiangxi Province Volunteer Service Training Base, the "CYL Cadre Lecturer "Double-Teacher"" teacher training base, the seventh batch of Nanchang Skilled Talents Training Base, and the ninth batch of Nanchang Skilled Master Studios.

The school has more than 270 full-time and part-time teachers and nearly 8,000 students. There are five teaching units under the Department of Youth Education, Traffic Management, Economic Management, Ideological and Political Theory Course Teaching Department, and Public Basic Course Teaching Department. 36 majors are opened, covering multiple categories. Among them, youth work and management majors and e-commerce majors are national backbone majors; youth work and management majors, welding technology and automation majors are the "professional service industry" construction majors approved by the Ministry of Education; youth work and management majors, welding technology and Automation, flight attendant, and preschool education were rated as provincial-level specialty majors.


The school continues to improve training and teaching conditions. The e-commerce productive training base is recognized as a national productive training base, Tao Xingzhi International Co-creation Space Collaborative Innovation Center is recognized as a national applied technology collaborative innovation center, preschool education practice The training base and welding engineering training center are construction projects funded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. The school continues to deepen teaching reforms, and has established 1 national quality online open course, 1 provincial quality course, 4 provincial quality resource sharing courses, 6 provincial quality online open courses, and "Innovative Development Action Plan" provincial quality online 10 courses are open.


The academic journal "Youth Development Forum" sponsored by the school ranks among the top 20 full-text reprint rates of Sociology of Renmin University of China for two consecutive years. The column "Communist Youth League and Youth Work" has been awarded as "Jiangxi Province Journal Excellent Column" and "East China" "Excellent Columns of Regional Journals" has a certain influence in the field of youth social science research across the country.
