Jiangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College

Jiangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time college sponsored by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and filed by the Ministry of Education and affiliated to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jiangxi Province. In 2010, the college was selected as a national key higher vocational college construction project, and passed the acceptance in 2013 with an "excellent" level; in 2014, it became the first batch of pilot units for joint training of applied undergraduate talents in higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province; in 2018, it was selected as Jiangxi Province 10 high-level higher vocational colleges were established for the construction of project units. The college is a national advanced collective for the employment of ordinary college graduates, a national advanced unit of vocational education, a pilot unit for the "1+X" certificate pilot of vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province, and a pilot unit for the construction of cultural and creative parks in colleges and universities across the province.


The college currently has two campuses, Aixi Lake and Qingshan Lake, covering an area of more than 600 acres and a building area of 400,000 square meters. The total fixed assets are 760 million yuan. The college has 7 teaching branches, with more than 18,000 students and 1,074 faculty members. Among them, there are 825 full-time teachers, 45 professors (professional titles), and 172 associate professors (associate senior titles). Double-qualified teachers account for 70.65% of full-time teachers. In addition, 1 national "May 1st Labor" Medal winner, 1 national technical expert, 2 national outstanding teachers, 2 provincial "tens of millions of talents", 1 special allowance from the State Council, and 2 special allowances from the provincial government have emerged. There are a large number of advanced models, including 4 provincial-level teaching teams, 5 provincial-level teaching teachers, and 10 winners of the "May 1st Labor" Medal in Jiangxi Province.


The college continues to deepen teaching reforms. Completed 2 national quality (shared) courses, 86 provincial-level quality courses, and won 3 provincial first prizes for teaching achievements; built 138 quality resource sharing courses and 3 textbooks selected into the national "Thirteenth Five-Year" vocational education planning textbook . The college won the first prize of the National Vocational College Information Teaching Competition in 2017 and 2018. From 2017 to 2020, it won the first place in the total score of the Jiangxi Vocational College Skills Competition for four consecutive years. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, it ranked 28th in the teaching ability competition of the National Vocational College Skills Competition, and ranked 10th in the country in the 2020 National Vocational Skills Competition Teaching Ability Competition Reform Pilot Competition.
