Jiangxi Vocational College of Finance and Economics is a full-time public general college under the Department of Finance of Jiangxi Province. Its predecessor was Jiangxi Finance and Accounting School founded in 1960. In 1988, it was upgraded to Jiujiang Branch of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (general junior college).
