The School of Science and Technology of Nanchang University was established in August 2001. It was organized by Nanchang University and Jiangxi Changda Enterprise Group (hereinafter referred to as Changda Group). An undergraduate comprehensive independent college. Through more than 10 years of construction and development, with the strong support and support of the Provincial Department of Education and the headquarters of Nanchang University, the scale of our school is expanding, the level of running a school is increasing, and the characteristics and good reputation of running a school are increasingly manifested. The college enrolls students from 26 provinces (cities) across the country, with 42 undergraduate majors, and currently has more than 13,000 students. It has independently issued diplomas from the 2007 graduates and bachelor's degree certificates from the 2012 graduates. In addition to a small number of management backbones selected by the school headquarters to work in the college, teachers and management personnel are all personnel agents, and a full appointment system is implemented. The college campus covers an area of 571.3 acres, with two campuses, Qingshan Hunan Campus and Qingyuan Campus. The total value of fixed assets of the college is 80.4 million yuan, of which the total value of teaching equipment is 41 million yuan. The total area of the school building is 198,000 square meters, of which 126,000 square meters are used for teaching and administration and 65,000 square meters of student dormitories. It has 1 national sports stadium, 1 national standard gymnasium, and 1 library with a construction area of more than 10,000 square meters; it has 105 teaching laboratories; various collections of books and materials are 820,000 volumes.
The college has the status of an independent legal person, implements the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors, and has independent finance; the college has a party committee, under which there are 6 party branches and 41 party branches; the institution is set up to implement three-level two-level management, namely There are three levels of college, subject department, and department, and two-level management of college and subject department. The department has no administrative functions. The college has 5 university departments, 14 party and government agencies and 5 business units (see Annex 1 for details).
The college has been established for more than ten years, and has sent a total of 15057 graduates to the society for eight sessions, with a one-time employment rate of more than 84%. From 2005 to 2010, the college's employment rate ranked first among independent colleges in the province for six consecutive years, and the quality of talent training has been well received by the society. The college has won 850 awards in various competitions such as the National College Student Mathematical Modeling Contest, CCTV Cup National College Student English Contest, and National Electronic Design Contest, among which: 356 national awards, 494 provincial awards, and successively won " China’s Top Ten Branded Independent Colleges in the 30 Years of Reform and Opening-up, “National Top Ten Independent Colleges”, “Advanced Units in the Year of Standardized Management in Jiangxi Province”, “Advanced Groups in the Year of Innovative Development in Jiangxi Province”, and “Advanced Groups in the Ideological and Political Education of College Students in the Province ", "Jiangxi Province 2007-2009 Employment Work Advanced Unit", "The Provincial Education System Personnel Talent Work Advanced Group" and many other honors.
