Jiujiang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education. It was founded in 1960 and formerly known as Jiujiang Shipbuilding Industry School. In 1994, it became one of the first 10 pilot schools in the country to hold higher vocational education.
