Nanjing Vocational College of Visual Arts

Nanjing Institute of Visual Arts (NIVA), formerly known as the Nanjing Institute of Visual Arts, Nanjing Forestry University, was founded in 2000. It is a full-time comprehensive new art university approved by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. . The college is located in Konggang New City, Lishui District, Nanjing, covering an area of 800 acres. The campus is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has a beautiful environment. The college has four teaching units, namely the Department of Media, Department of Design, Department of Humanities and Arts, and the International College. It has set up 24 professional directions including film and television media, art design, music and dance, and service management that meet the needs of social development in the new era. There are first-class educational and teaching facilities such as digital studio, concert hall, golf driving range, NIVA Museum of Photography, and South Visual Art Museum. The college has successively cooperated with dozens of well-known higher education institutions at home and abroad to recognize each other's credits and share resources, and build "undergraduate", "transfer from undergraduate", "undergraduate to undergraduate" and "3+1 and 2+2 international undergraduates" for students "Waiting to grow into a new platform. Over the past 20 years since its establishment, the college has been adhering to the school motto of "Fine Arts, Innovation and Pursuit of Excellence" and has trained more than 10,000 outstanding graduates for the society.
