Jiangsu Vocational and Technical College of Economics and Trade is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Sunan Zhenjiang Commercial School founded in 1952. It was the beginning of the independent establishment of business education in Jiangsu after the founding of New China. The provincial commercial school was transformed into a higher vocational college. In 2007, it was selected as the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province.
