Wuxi Vocational and Technical College is a state-owned and publicly-run provincial full-time general higher vocational college. It is located on the shore of the beautiful Taihu Lake-Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. The predecessor of the school was the Wuxi Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing School founded by the former Ministry of Agricultural Machinery in March 1959; it was renamed Jiangsu Wuxi Machinery Manufacturing School in March 1979; it was upgraded to Wuxi Vocational and Technical College with the approval of the Ministry of Education in July 1999, which is affiliated to Jiangsu Education hall.
