Hunan Post and Telecommunications Vocational and Technical College is a public, full-time general college. Its predecessor is Hunan Post and Telecommunications School. It was founded in 1958, upgraded to Changsha Telecommunications Vocational and Technical College in 2001, and renamed Hunan Post and Telecommunications Vocational and Technical College in 2012. The college is hosted by China Telecom, and the education business is managed by the Provincial Department of Education. The college is located at No. 128 Shahu Street, Nanhu Road, Tianxin District, Changsha. It covers an area of 254,100 square meters, with a total fixed asset value of 150 million yuan. In recent years, students have won 30 national honors and 76 provincial honors in various professional skill competitions at all levels.
