Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a public full-time general college managed by the Hunan Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission and the Hunan Provincial Department of Education with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004. The school was founded in 1959 and has a history of more than 50 years. It now covers an area of more than 900 acres (including the new campus of Yunlong Vocational Education City), with a total construction area of 208,000 square meters. The campus has a beautiful environment, with camphor flourishes, and is equipped with environmental facilities based on Chinese medicine. The greening and beautification of the campus all use medicinal plants, which has a strong Chinese medicine cultural atmosphere.
