Hunan Foreign Trade Vocational College

The predecessor of Hunan Vocational College of Foreign Trade was the Provincial Grain School established in 1954 and the Provincial School of Foreign Economics and Trade established in 1978. In 2003, the two schools merged and upgraded to form Hunan Vocational College of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade. In 2010, it was renamed Hunan Vocational College of Foreign Trade.    College scale The college is located on Foreign Trade Road, Dingziwan Street, Wangcheng District, Changsha City, covering an area of 706 acres. There are more than 9,200 students and more than 460 faculty members.


Talent training In order to better meet the needs of building an open and strong province, the college has strengthened the construction of professional connotation, innovated the methods and methods of talent cultivation, and closed a number of majors that are not closely related to foreign economic and trade industries and are not closely related to the positioning of the school. "One Belt One Road", adapting to the new economic normal and Hunan's innovation-led, open and rising strategy, is a major closely related to the transformation and upgrading of foreign economic and trade industries. In the course design, more attention is paid to cultivating students' professional skills, foreign language ability and diplomatic ability. Professional establishment The college connects Hunan's foreign trade, e-commerce, tourism services and general consulting industries, and has built four characteristic professional groups: international business, e-commerce, international tourism, and international finance. It has established the International Business College, the Business Foreign Language College, and the Accounting College. , School of Electronic Commerce, School of Tourism, School of Art, etc. 9 second-level departments, including international economics and trade, business English, computerized accounting, marketing, hotel management, flight attendants, e-commerce, software and information services, There are 22 majors including interior art design, and more than 50 national and provincial key vocational education construction projects have been established.

   Service Development College participated in the drafting of the "Guiding Opinions on the Construction of Commercial Circulation Carriers in Hunan Province", compiled the 2017 reference report on the innovation and development of Hunan's service trade and other decision-making reference reports, and regularly released Hunan Province's service trade data analysis briefings. In 2017, the province hosted an open economic business training course. In addition to foreign trade, commerce and other fields, it also carried out targeted poverty alleviation training for poverty-stricken areas and pre-job training for veterans.


  Foreign Aid From 2010 to 2017, the college undertook a total of 183 foreign aid training programs, training nearly 6,000 trainees from developing countries. The technical cooperation project of the Ministry of Commerce assisting Sudan Omdurman Vocational Training Center undertaken by the college is the largest foreign aid project in the field of vocational education in Hunan Province, and it is also a typical example of my country's vocational education "going out". In the past three years, a total of 226 students have been organized to visit and inspect a total of 226 enterprises in and outside the province; 130 seminars and exchanges of various forms have been held; 7 professional international cooperation matchmaking meetings attended by 236 enterprises and 456 foreign students have been held. It facilitated the signing of 8 cooperation agreements or memorandums of cooperation between Hunan enterprises and developing countries, with a total contract value of nearly 600 million US dollars.
