1. College Overview


   Nanhu College of Hunan University of Technology was established in June 2002 with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, and was the first batch of full-time undergraduate independent colleges confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2003. In January 2005, the college was praised in the special inspection and evaluation of the educational conditions of the Ministry of Education; in 2007 and 2008, it ranked top in the annual inspection of the independent colleges of Hunan Province; in 2010, it was awarded the Provincial Department of Education in the special inspection of the professional construction of independent colleges in the province The leaders and the expert group spoke highly of it.    2. Organizational Management


  The college implements the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors.    There are 360 full-time teachers in the college, including 41 professors, 131 associate professors, 25 doctors, and 157 masters. There are 12 young backbone teachers in Hunan Province and 5 young teachers in Hunan Province. In the past three years, the excellent rate of teachers' classroom teaching quality evaluation has been above 96.3%. In the special inspection of classroom teaching in independent colleges organized by the Provincial Department of Education, the teaching level of our college teachers was fully affirmed by the expert group. The college has signed a cooperative education framework agreement with Grachau Preparatory School of Chemnitz University of Technology in Germany.
