Hunan High-speed Railway Vocational and Technical College

Hunan High Speed Railway Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1951 by the Ministry of Railways. The first president was General Guo Weicheng, who later served as Minister of Railways and Deputy Commander of the Railway Corps. The college focuses on the development of the high-speed rail industry, and establishes majors to fully connect with the engineering construction, operation, maintenance and diversified services in the high-speed rail industry chain. It follows a professional and sophisticated school-running road. It is the first higher vocational college named "high-speed rail" in the country. . The campus covers an area of 800 acres, with more than 12,000 full-time students, more than 3,000 adult students, and an annual training building of 50,000 days. In the past 65 years, it has trained nearly 50,000 graduates and is known as the railway system. "Whampoa Military Academy". The college currently has 22 majors in 5 departments, 1 school, 1 school, including Railway Engineering Department, Railway Architecture Department, Railway Transport Department, Railway Telecommunications Department, Railway Electromechanical Department, etc., forming a professional pattern covering the six core technologies of high-speed rail with distinctive characteristics. Focus on cultivating high-end skilled professionals with "high quality, high standards and high efficiency" for the front line of the high-speed rail industry.


  The college has continuously enriched the cooperative education model, and its comprehensive strength has been greatly enhanced. The “four-in-one” long-term cooperation mechanism between government, bank, enterprise and school has been initially established. It has a team of teachers who are led by Shen Zhiyun, a high-speed rail expert and academician of the two academies, with high professional skills, strong service capabilities, and high industry reputation; it has 4 comprehensive training bases, 15 training centers, and 80 training centers. Training rooms and more than 120 stable off-campus internship training bases, the total value of equipment in the on-campus training bases (rooms) reached more than 50 million yuan; comprehensive construction of the "312" social service system, namely 3 technical service centers (high-speed rail technical service center, construction engineering Technology Incubation Center, Intelligent Transportation Research Center), 1 Hengyang Vocational College Teaching Service Sharing Base and 2 Platforms (Volunteer Service Platform, International Exchange Platform); Graduates face the China Railway Corporation (formerly the Ministry of Railways), China Railway Construction , China Railway Engineering, Urban Rail Transit, and the four major national railway systems for high-paying employment: the order training rate of school students is more than 40%, and the average employment rate of graduates in the past three years is more than 95%.
