Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College

Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College is a higher vocational college that focuses on engineering majors and jointly develops majors such as cultural management and economics. Mainly for rail transit, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, business management and other industries, cultivate high-end skilled talents such as prospective technologists and prospective technicians who can meet the needs of the job. The school was founded in 1951. In July 2000, with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, the original Zhuzhou Railway Motor School and the Industrial Workers College of the Ministry of Railways merged and upgraded to Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College. In 2004, he was awarded "Excellent" in the evaluation of the talent training work of higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education. In 2009, it passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance and became one of the first batch of 28 national exemplary higher vocational colleges in the country. In November 2009, the school was transferred to the Hunan Provincial People's Government from China South Locomotive Group and was incorporated into a unit directly under the Department of Education. In May 2011, it passed the advanced evaluation of party building in colleges and universities in Hunan Province. In June 2012, Hyundai Enterprise University China South Locomotive University settled in the school. The first batch of outstanding college construction units in Hunan Province was established in July 2015.

The school has now built a national teaching resource database, with 1 national quality specialty, 2 national education reform pilot majors, 7 Hunan provincial quality majors, 2 Hunan model characteristic majors, and 1 Hunan model characteristic major group. There are 2 specialty majors in Hunan Province and 6 majors in Hunan Province's educational reform pilot program. There are 2 productive internship training (teacher certification training) bases in Hunan Province; 23 provincial-level quality courses, 12 national-level quality courses, 12 national-level resource sharing courses, and 42 national planning textbooks for the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" project.
