Hunan Medical College

Hunan Medical College is a state-run full-time undergraduate general medical college. It was founded in 1924 in Changsha (Benshu Nursing School), approved by the Ministry of Education in 2014, upgraded from the original Huaihua Medical College and renamed Hunan Medical College.

The school is located in Huaihua City, Hunan Province, which is known as "Great Southwest Bridgehead, Original Ecological Botanical Garden, Ancient Architecture Museum, Multi-ethnic Cultural Village, Birthplace of Hybrid Rice, and Land of Victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan". Huaihua has very convenient transportation. It is a national comprehensive transportation hub city, a central city and a node city in the Wulingshan Economic Cooperation Zone.
