Geographic location

Hubei Preschool Teachers College is a full-time public college directly under the management of Hubei Provincial Department of Education. The school is located in the beautiful national modern entrepreneurial cluster "Wuhan·China Optics Valley", with three campuses, Tangxun Lake, Gedian and Ziyang East Road, with a total area of more than 700 acres and a building area of more than 200,000 square meters.

The "Hubei Experimental Kindergarten" affiliated to the school can be traced back to the Hubei kindergarten initiated by Zhang Zhidong, the governor of Huguang in 1903. It is the first public kindergarten in Chinese history and is known as "the foundation stone of a century of preschool education." The school was founded in 1951 and is the first kindergarten normal school in New China. The two national firsts, "One Hundred Years of Preschool Education" and "The First Kindergarten Teacher", have established the school's milestone status in the history of China's early childhood education development.

Special profession

The school takes teacher education as the main body, offering preschool education, early education, special education, modern housekeeping service and management (maternal and child care), primary school English education (including preschool), tourism English, art education, environmental art design, music 15 majors including education, music production, dance education, physical education, broadcasting and hosting, infant and young child care services and management, and smart health and elderly care services and management. Among them, pre-school education, art education and dance education are specialties of Hubei Province.

Faculty

The school currently has 312 faculty members. Among them, there are 63 teachers with deputy senior titles and above, and 80 lecturers. Among the teachers, 12 have won the national honorary title, 68 have won the provincial honorary title; 1 national award young musician, 3 Zeng Xianzi Award winners, and 2 special government allowances.

The school has established long-term and friendly employment cooperation relationships with more than 600 households, including provincial and municipal demonstration kindergartens, military military kindergartens, large preschool education groups and private high-quality kindergartens. In the past 70 years, the school has trained tens of thousands of outstanding graduates for the society. Graduates are spread all over the country, and the supply exceeds demand, becoming the backbone of the preschool education industry. Nearly 80% of kindergarten principals and key teachers in Hubei Province graduated from our school, contributing their youth and strength to Hubei preschool education.

Scientific research exchange

The school attaches great importance to scientific research and foreign exchanges. He has successively completed 216 scientific research projects of national educational institutions and societies; compiled 656 textbooks and published monographs; published more than 1,200 papers in journals above the provincial level; and won more than 900 awards in various national and provincial competitions. The school conducts academic exchange activities with many domestic and foreign universities such as Queensland University of Technology in Australia, Southeast University of Norway, University of Hertfordshire in the UK, University of Sydney in Australia, and Beijing Normal University.
