[School Overview] Hubei University of Arts and Science is a provincial full-time general undergraduate institution of higher learning. It is located in Xiangyang, a national historical and cultural city and a sub-central city of Hubei Province. It is located in Gulongzhong, the former residence of Zhuge Liang, the incarnation of the wisdom of the Chinese nation. The campus is three countries. The school’s history can be traced back to the Xiangyang Teachers College, founded in 1958; from 1966 to 1978, the Xiangyang branch of Wuhan University was established here; in March 1998, Xiangyang Teachers College, Xiangfan Vocational University, and Xiangfan Education College merged and formed Xiangfan College; In July 2000, Hubei Arts and Crafts School was incorporated as a whole; in February 2012, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was renamed Hubei College of Arts and Sciences.    [Talent training] There are 55 undergraduate majors, covering 9 university disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management, and art. There are more than 15,000 full-time general undergraduate students. There are 2 national-level characteristic majors, 1 national-level comprehensive professional reform pilot major, 4 provincial-level brand majors; 14 provincial-level professional comprehensive reform pilots and other professional "undergraduate teaching engineering" projects; provincial-level boutique online open courses 10 courses; 9 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers and other practical teaching platforms. Continuously deepening the reform of talent training, the characteristics of collaborative training of talents with deep integration of schools and enterprises (local), organic integration of science and education, and full-staff collaboration have become increasingly prominent, and won the first prize of Hubei Province Excellent Teaching Achievement.
