Hubei Institute of Technology is a full-time general undergraduate college sponsored by the People’s Government of Hubei Province. It is located in Xiaogan, a sub-central city of Wuhan city circle and a famous city of filial piety culture in China. It is 50 kilometers away from the urban area of Wuhan and takes the Xiaogan Railway to Wuhan Tianhe International 18 minutes from the airport and 28 minutes from Hankou, the transportation is convenient and the location advantage is obvious. The school’s history can be traced back to the Hubei Provincial Third Normal School founded in 1943. It has gone through the development stages of Xiaogan Normal School, Xiaogan University, Xiaogan Branch of Wuhan Normal University, Xiaogan Teachers College, Xiaogan Teachers College, and other development stages in 1986. Technical Teachers College (formerly known as the Xiaogan Branch of Huazhong Agricultural College) merged.
