On July 17, 2018, Comrade Wang Guosheng, Secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, led a Henan delegation to visit Luxembourg, Germany, and Russia to further promote Henan’s integration into the “Belt and Road” construction. Witnessed by the Director of the General Administration Yurchenko, Su Dongmin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College, and Liao Wen, president of the Russian Jiaotong University, signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build the "Zhengzhou Asia-Europe Transportation Vocational College".
On December 25, 2018, the People's Government of Henan Province issued Yuzheng Wen [2018] No. 160, approving the establishment of Zhengzhou Asia-Europe Transportation Vocational College in cooperation between Zhengzhou Railway Vocational and Technical College and Russian Jiaotong University.
On June 6, 2019, the Ministry of Education approved the license number of Zhengzhou Asia-Europe Transportation Vocational College. On the same day, the Henan Provincial Department of Education issued the college's Sino-foreign cooperative education license.
On June 24, 2019, Zhengzhou Asia-Europe Transportation Vocational College was approved by Henan Provincial Public Institution Registration Administration and issued a public institution legal person certificate.
On July 6, 2019, Zhengzhou Asia-Europe Transportation Vocational College was approved by the Ministry of Education and Henan Provincial Department of Education to officially enroll students in Henan Province for the first time.
Under the correct leadership and strong support of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, Henan Provincial Department of Education and other higher-level departments, Zhengzhou Asia-Europe Transportation Vocational College has completed all preparations for the college and started enrolling smoothly after a year of intense preparations.
