Henan Vocational College of Geology and Mineral Resources is a public full-time general university approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. The college is under the management of the Henan Provincial Department of Education. It is the only higher vocational college named after geology and minerals in the central and western regions of my country.
The college is located in Baisha Vocational Education Park, Zhengdong New District. It covers an area of 387 acres, with a construction area of 108,900 square meters for the first phase. The college has 210 full-time teachers, 60 teachers with associate titles or above (5 professors, 34 associate professors), 120 teachers with master's degree or above, and 110 teachers with double qualifications. There are 4497 students in school.

Under the leadership of the Department of Education and the Guiding Committee for School-Enterprise Cooperation in Henan Geology and Mineral Industry Vocational Education, the college has been closely training talents with the Department of Land and Resources of Henan Province and the Geology and Mineral Industry of Henan Province.
The college has an internship base covering an area of 10 acres and a construction area of 10,000 square meters in Dengfeng, which can simultaneously meet the requirements for field internship training for thousands of students in learning, living and geology; the location of the college: Zhengkai Avenue and Baisha District, Zhengzhou City 1000 meters north of the intersection of Yongji Road.
