Henan Vocational College of Surveying and Mapping

Henan Vocational College of Surveying and Mapping is the only full-time general higher vocational college in the country that has been approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is under the management of the Henan Provincial Department of Education. The college is located in Baisha Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, adjacent to the beautiful "Xiang Lake", with convenient transportation and beautiful environment. The college has a strong faculty. There are 232 full-time teachers, including 46 associate-senior and above professional and technical staff, 96 teachers with a master's degree or above; 111 "double-qualified" teachers, academic and technical leaders, backbone teachers, and famous teaching teachers 20 people. At the same time, more than 170 industry practice instructors with rich practical experience are also hired outside. The teaching equipment is advanced, each major has a laboratory, and is equipped with equipment and software systems that are equivalent to the work level of the industry unit.

The college has six departments: Surveying and Mapping Engineering, Land Information and Management, Spatial Information, Remote Sensing Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Economic Management. It mainly cultivates highly skilled talents in surveying and mapping, participates in national and provincial vocational skill competitions, and has won first prizes for groups and individuals many times.

The college introduced "Jiangsu Jingdong Information Technology Co., Ltd.", "Beijing Create Future Internet Education Technology Co., Ltd.", "Beijing Tiantai Beidou Technology Co., Ltd.", "Henan Tuopu Beidou Surveying and Mapping Technology Co., Ltd.", "Henan Lutong Surveying and Mapping" "System Engineering Co., Ltd." and other school-enterprise cooperation units are stationed on the campus, and 42 school-enterprise cooperation off-campus training bases have been established to provide guarantee for teaching, scientific research and student internships. Employment is oriented to the whole country, serving the surveying, mapping and geographic information industry and related units. Our college has established a relationship between supply and demand for graduates with more than a thousand units across the country, and has established a smooth employment channel for graduates.
