Henan Vocational College of Nursing is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province. It was established in 1951 and is located in Anyang City, Henan Province, a famous historical and cultural city in China and one of the eight ancient capitals. The college is the only public nursing vocational college in Henan Province. It is the chairman unit of the Henan Provincial Health Vocational Education Group and is directly under the management of the Henan Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission. The college covers an area of 542.5 acres, with a construction area of more than 184,000 square meters. It has 160 experiments (training ) Room, with a construction area of more than 49,000 square meters, a total value of 96.452 million yuan in teaching and research equipment, and a library collection of 545,000 books. At the same time, the college has 1 affiliated tertiary first-class hospital, 1 affiliated dental hospital, and 22 teaching hospitals.

The college has three departments, including the Department of Nursing, Department of Medical Technology, Department of Pharmaceutical Laboratory Science, Department of Basic Medicine, Department of Public Subjects, and Department of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching. 12 majors including service and management, dental medicine technology, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation treatment technology, and medical nutrition, among which 3 majors including nursing, stomatology, and midwifery have been identified as pilot majors for comprehensive professional reform in Henan Province . The source of students is from 16 provinces, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and autonomous regions in China, with nearly 10,000 students in school, of which the total number of vocational (technical) students is 8,967.
