Zhengzhou Vocational College of Information Technology (Ministry Standard Code 13565, Admission Code 6270) is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial Government in 2002 and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2003. Enrollment began in 2006. In 2009, it was awarded the vocational skill appraisal and certification unit for unique types of work in the cultural industry. In 2011, it successfully passed the evaluation of talent training in higher vocational colleges in Henan Province. In 2016, it was awarded the title of "Henan Province Vocational Education Brand Model College". In 2017, it was successfully selected as a provincial pilot unit of modern apprenticeship. Zhengzhou Vocational College of Information Technology uses the high-quality resources of Henan Radio and TV University to run schools, and the two schools implement the operating mode of "one set of institutions, two brands, unified leadership, and integrated operation". The school is located in Longzihu University Park, Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, with a beautiful environment and convenient transportation. The school occupies a total area of 500 acres, a building area of 350,000 square meters, a total value of more than 75.1 million yuan in teaching and research equipment, and 400,000 books. There are more than 600 faculty members and 10,650 students in school. In 2018, the admission score for general recruitment of liberal arts and sciences was 200 points higher than the provincial minimum limit, and it reached a new high.
