Zhengzhou Institute of Business and Technology is a full-time private general undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education in 2016. The college was formerly known as the Wanfang College of Science and Technology of Henan University of Technology. It was founded in 2002 and is the first independent college at the undergraduate level in Henan Province.
