Luoyang Institute of Technology is a provincial full-time general undergraduate college located in Luoyang, the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties, known as the "Millennium Imperial Capital, Peony Flower City" among the first batch of national historical and cultural cities.
In March 2007, Luoyang Industrial Technical College directly under the former Ministry of Building Materials merged with the former Luoyang University to form Luoyang Institute of Technology. In the 64-year history of running a school, the school has always adhered to the socialist direction of running a school, adhering to the school-running philosophy of “reassuring the government, satisfying the society, and benefiting students”, and deepening the “industrial, local, and application-oriented” school positioning. The national building materials industry and local economic and social development have trained and transported nearly 200,000 senior professionals. The school covers an area of 2,229 acres, with three campuses in Wangcheng, Kaiyuan and Jiudu, with a total school building area of 946,300 square meters.
