Nanyang Normal University is an ordinary undergraduate college in Henan Province. It was founded in 1951 as the Henan Provincial Nanyang Normal School. It was upgraded to Nanyang Teachers College in 1958 and Nanyang Normal University in 2000. In 2007, it passed the evaluation of the undergraduate teaching level of the Ministry of Education.
