Heilongjiang Sanjiang Vocational College of Fine Arts is approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is under the leadership of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education. The higher education institution is the only art academy in Heilongjiang Province that is included in the national enrollment plan.
The college is located in Dalai Town, a suburb of Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. It has teaching practice bases in Beijing and Harbin. There are 292 experts, professors, and associate professors, and 78% of the dual-qualified teachers; 22 majors (including professional directions), 5 national brands and provincial key majors, each major has an on-campus design company and School-enterprise cooperative units have achieved solid and effective results in the "combination of work and study", which has provided guarantees for students' success and employment.
Since its establishment in 1980, Heilongjiang Sanjiang Vocational College of Fine Arts has experienced 38 years of wind and rain. Over the past 38 years, the college’s unremitting efforts to cultivate talents has been widely recognized by all sectors of society. More than 10,000 graduates are all employed, and more than 2,800 graduates have started their own businesses and started companies. The annual income is as high as 10 million and as little as over 1 million. The college has won a good reputation in the society, and employers generally report that the graduates of Sanjiang Academy of Fine Arts have a solid foundation, strong hands-on ability, pioneering and innovative spirit, and great development potential. The college is known as "the cradle of cultivating art and design talents" and was awarded the title of "National Advanced Unit of Colleges and Universities". Dozens of domestic news media such as Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television have successively reported on our school's deeds. Education delegations from UNESCO, Belgium, Japan, the United States and other countries, accompanied by my country’s national ministries and commissions, provincial and municipal leaders, experts, and scholars, visited the institute and negotiated cooperation. Sanjiang Academy of Fine Arts has entered the ranks of international vocational education exchanges. . Won the title of "Top Ten Well-known Art Design Institutions in Heilongjiang Province" in 2011, was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Art and Design College" by the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Provincial Department of Culture in 2012 and 2013, and was awarded the "National Education Reform and Innovation Demonstration (College) School" in 2014 "The title and the Outstanding Achievement Award of the 3rd Fashion Design Teaching Achievement Exhibition of the Ministry of Education.
