Hegang Teachers Technical College

Hegang Teachers College is a public full-time general college approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2002. Its predecessor was Hegang Teachers College and Hegang Mining Bureau Normal School, Hegang Finance and Economics, founded in 1958 The school has a history of 59 years.


   The school adheres to the school positioning of "highlighting the advantages of teacher education, vigorously developing vocational and technical education, and serving basic education and local economic and social development". The school has established a school-running idea of "strengthening the characteristics of teacher education, broadening vocational and technical majors, and actively developing skills training for local areas".


   The school conditions are perfect. There are two campuses, east and west. The campus covers an area of nearly 500,000 square meters, a building area of nearly 100,000 square meters, fixed assets of 132 million yuan, a total value of teaching equipment and equipment of nearly 20 million yuan, and a library collection of 360,000 books.    The school has 8 departments: Humanities and Social Sciences, Educational Science, Foreign Languages, Computer Technology, Mathematics and Engineering Technology, Finance and Economic Management, Sports Education and Research, and Ideological and Political Education and Research. There are 15 teacher education majors including Chinese education, English education, preschool education, computer application, history education, mathematics education, geography education, music education, physical education, art education, preschool education, etc., as well as accounting and auditing, computer network technology, 41 vocational and technical majors including construction engineering technology, coal mining technology, mine electromechanical, coal chemical production technology, news editing and production, and application of Russian.   The school pays attention to the construction of experimental training base.    The school has established multiple employment bases inside and outside the province. It has successively established employment bases in Beijing, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Changzhou, Harbin, etc., to provide students with opportunities to build a platform for employment. The employment rate of graduates for three consecutive years is higher than the provincial average; in 2012, the employment rate of graduates reached 87.6%; in 2013, the initial employment rate of graduates reached 82.5%.


   In recent years, the school has been rated as the pacesetter of Heilongjiang Province's spiritual civilization unit, Heilongjiang Province's garden-style unit, and Hegang City's civilization unit.
