The Kunlun Tourism College of Heilongjiang Institute of Technology was approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education in 2002 to become a private undergraduate college (code 13304 of the Ministry of Education).
The college has a strong faculty. There are currently 280 full-time teachers, including 38 professors, 61 associate professors, 52 full-time teachers with dual qualifications, and 217 teachers with a master's degree or above.
The college has an advanced school management model. The college now has seven departments, and currently has 11 undergraduate majors in four disciplines: management, art, education, and literature, with more than 4,000 students. The college vigorously organizes college students to participate in social practice activities to ensure the demand for social talents. In recent years, the college has maintained a good employment situation.
The college has an elegant environment for running a school. There is a school in Jingzhong, and there is a scene in the school. The college is located in Erlong Mountain in the outskirts of Harbin, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.
